Types of therapy

That impulse that rises when you sense something is possible

How do I know if I am ready for therapy?

Perhaps the question to ask yourself is: how much longer do I want to go on suffering?

When we begin, you and I will build a plan together: the measurable goals you want to reach, the patterns you want to change, and the events we need to work on.

Every session will work towards them. We will review your progress regularly and set new goals, until you know it is time to “graduate” from therapy because everything you set out to do has been achieved, or is well on its way.

Understanding what is happening to you is part of the treatment. In our therapy I will not only listen — together we will identify and release the neurophysiological sources at the centre of emotional and physical pain.

You will learn to regulate your nervous system, and to transform traumatic memories and the negative beliefs that hold you back.

Healing is being able to respond to your life from the here and now, with more clarity, more resources and more wellbeing.

Trauma is not what happens to us, but what happens inside us in the absence of an empathetic witness.

Intensive therapy

Suited to people in crisis, or who have the time to focus deeply on their process. When someone steps out of the daily rhythm and immerses themselves in emotional work over several consecutive days, they can reach layers of trauma that would normally take months to surface. This approach has proved especially useful when you need to move quickly, or to unlock a complicated situation.
